Although Nipper is designed to be as simple and straightforward as possible, we realise that it can be useful to have access to support when you need it. There is a range of options available for support:
- Pay as you go. You can choose to receive support from the helpdesk via phone, fax or email on an ad-hoc basis. The minimum charge for a support request is $20 plus GST. After 15 minutes the charge will be based on a rate of $80 plus GST per hour for time spent by Help Desk staff.
- Annual Subscription. This provides for on demand access to the Meta Office Help Desk for up to 10 hours per annum, plus all updates (see below) released in the 12 month period covered by the period of the subscription, which costs $600 plus GST.
- Updates to Nipper will be offered to existing users for an additional licence fee. Users subscribing to the full support option will receive the updates as a matter of course. Such updates become available as the requirements of government agencies change. For example, when TEC implemented electronic receipting an interface from Nipper become available. Updates will not be mandatory. Whether to update or not will be your decision.
